Watriama, who claims to he king of the Loyalty Islands, points out the seriousness of the Japanese increasing in numbers in those islands. The majority are employed at the nickel mines, some being soldiers and spies. Watriama is convinced that if something is not done, the Japanese flag will he flying there within two or I three days’ travel of Australia before many years are past.
