A FAMILY QUARREL.
FATHER AND SON SHOT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, August 10. A mysterious tragedy lias occurred in the city. Mrs Goldstein hoard icvolver shots in a lower root", and on investigation, found her husband shot dead and a grown- ip ton wounded. A revolver w’tfi thtce chambers discharged lay between the bodies. The son has been taken to the hospital and has n it regained consciousness. The cause of the tragedy is unknown. The father and son bad a disagreement recently, and the supposition is that they renewed the quarrel. A DASTARDLY ACT. (Received 10.40 a.m.'i Sydney, August 11. Indications point to the fact that Goldstein shot his son while asleep and turned the revolver on himself. The son’s condition is so low that he is unable to explain.
