WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Kov D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows ;
The indications are for :—Northerly strong winds to gale prevailing, changing to storm, which appears to he approaching from the south aftci jabout 24 hours. The weather will probably be dull and overcast. Much rain is to be expected. Barometer falling, but rise after 24 hours.
