HIS! MAJESTY’S PICTURES. L ; A complete change will be submitted at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, the “star” attraction being - ‘‘The Secret Treaty,” an exciting story of diplomatic circles. It : deals with a secret treaty concluded with an Eastern Power. A diplomat in the service of the Eastern State is sent to get information regarding the treaty, but an attempt at burglary fails. Undaunted, the diplomat gains information which implicates the wife of the guardian of the treaty, and with' lief help succeeds in opening the safe wherein it reposes. At the eleventh hour the woman repents and meets her death. The Eastern diplomat seizes a packet and flies, but finds he has not got the treaty. This drama is supported by the full range ol dramatic, scenic, and comic pictures.
