“YES” LEADS.

THE FEDERAL ELECTIONS. FINALS STILL LN DOUBT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright 1 [United Press AssociATidr (deceived 10.20 a.m.) Sydney, June o.

The Referenda position has altered. “Yes” has a majority on ail the questions on the total vote, and is leading in four States. These are the two conditions required for the success of the proposals, but it is too early yet to regard the result as certain.

Many thousand votes are still in doubt, and as counting tho absentee votes is proceeding slowly, it is unlikely that the complete figures for the election will he available before the end of the week. The delay caused by the absentee votes is illustrated by the fact that'at Sydney Town Hall votes were polled for every electorate in the Commonwealth with the exception of one. These have been sent by post.
