o THE PANAMA CANAL. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Washington, June 3. In the House of Representatives, Senator Stoenerson introduced a Bill enabling foreign vessels to participate in the American coastwise trade through the Panama Canal. THE TARIFF. President Wilson has declared in favor of free meat, cattle, sheep, hogs, wheat and oats. As Dr. Wilson swung the House of Representatives to agree to free wool and sugar, it is considered likely that he will he able to influence the Senate similarly. The Senate Committee has declared in favor of importing free meat.
