Tfye Kaiserhind medal for public services in India has been conferred upon Commissioner Booth Tucker, of the Salvation Army.
Mr F. Andrews, at one- time pri vate secretary to Mr Seddon, and now secretary to the New Zealand Cabinet, has been awarded the Imperial Service Medal.
A very successful dance was held at the Cardiff School on Friday evening last, there being an attendance about thirty couples. The music wW supplied by Messrs A. Richardson anti* A. Kelly, Mr J. Brown acting as M.C. An enjoyable supper was provided 'by the ladies.
