EGYPT’S FUTURE.
KITCHENER OPTIMISTIC. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8 a.m.) London, May 26. Lord Kitchener’s report on Egypt emphasises the marked diminution in party feeling and party strife, and the greater confidence in the Government, particularly among the silent mass of the people. Lord Kitchener hopes that the population will soon he again closely united in co-operating for the common good.
