WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. 1). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for westerly winds moderate to strong and veering by west to south. The weather will prove wild and showery, heavy showers with hail and sleet at times. Rain probable with snow in high country. Barometer unsteady still, but rising fast shortly. The weather should improve in the middle of the week.
WARNING FROM CLEMENT WRAGGE. Auckland, May 10. Mr Clement Wragge, the well-known
meteorologist, cables to the Press Association the following:—“Dominion warned of a disturbance named Trojan which is approaching.
