CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
Timaru, April 27. -At the Magistrate’s Court the hearing was concluded of a charge against C. H. Lesley of manslaughter through the negligent driving of a motor car, causing a collision by which a postal official named Dixon was instanteously killed. Defence was reserved. Accused was committed for trial, bail being allowed of £IOO himself and one surety of the same amount.
