WIRELESS AND HYDROPLANES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] San Francisco, April 2. Captain Roald Amundsen is planning to leave for the Arctic in June, 1914. Ho intends to drift northward across the Pole, and expects to find open water at the Pole during summer. Two hydroplanes will be utilised for the purpose of observation, and he will have wireless apparatus to communicate with the outside world. He is prepared to spend five years in North Polar exploration.
