The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Batoe) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:
The indications are for variable and strong breezes, northerly strong to gale prevailing and freshening. The weather will probably be cold and changeable. The nights will probably bo very cold inland. Barometer unsteady.
