FOOTBALL.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, March 13. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night accepted New South Wales’ suggestion for a further interchange of visits, on the basis of the agreement made 'in 1910 for the 1911 and 1912 visits.

The Australian team will visit New Zealand this year. The first match to be played, it is suggested, will be at Auckland at the end of August. There will probably be nine matches, three of which will be tests. A subcommittee will draw up a programme of matches.

The secretary of the New South Wales Union has fob warded an invitation, through the New Zealand Union, to Mr W. T. Parata to take a Maori team to Australia during the coining season. Such a tour was desired in both New South Wales find Queensland. It was decided to approve of the invitation. The suggested programme for the Maoris is to leave Auckland on May 26, arrive Sydney May 30. They will play in Sydney on June 4, in one of the northern centres of New South Wales oa June 7. Brisbane June 11, a country centre in Queensland June 14, Brisbane June 18, Western Centre of New South Wales June 21, and Sydney on. Juno 23.
