AUSTRALIAN POLITICS.
A NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY PARTY. Sydney, March 13. Mr Bccby, speaking at Armidalc, outlined the policy of the National Parliamentary Party, of which he is the prospective leader. It includes the summoning of a national convention* 1 to consider a rearrangement of the Federal compact, the extension at the referendum, the abolition of machine politics, and a modification of party politics in the State Parliament, elective ministers, national insurance against sickness, accident and unemployment, Board of Trade to administer all industrial laws, a modificationj of all laws relating to employer and employee, improvement of the hospital system, the increased expenditure thereby entailed to be met by a tax on sport and the proceeds of the totalisator.
