THE FATE OF SCUTARI

(By Telegraph.—Copyright.; (United Press Association.) London, March 13. The Powers have informed the Allies that whether Scutari falls or not, its future must remain in the hands of the Powers. Vienna, March 13.

There is much anxiety respecting the result of the forthcoming big attack on Scutari. Several newspapers threaten that there Avill he war if ever Scutari is added to Montenegro. The popular demand is increasing to create a strong Albania as a counterpoise to Servia. AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN RELATIONS. London, March 13. A NAVAL ENGAGEMENT

Belgrade, March 13

The Hamidieh bombarded Durazzo. The damage is not known. Subsequently the vessel bombarded San Giovanni and then disappeared in the direction of Italy. Some alarm is felt for the safety of several transports with Servian troops in the Adriatic. Constantinople, March 13.

It is reported that serious fighting has taken place at Bulwar since yesterday. The Turkish fleet is co-op-erating.

DARING WORK BY AN AVIATOR,

Advices state that Sacoff, a Russian aviator, did important work in the taking of Janina. Ho flew from Necropolis over the forts, carrying bombs. The forts fired shrapnel. Two bullets struck his biplane, and one pierced the petrol tank. He launched the six bombs over Fort Bazani, causing considerable damage. The troops were panic-stricken.
