AN EXTENSIVE FRAUD. London, March 12. Thomas, a solicitor at Bromley, Kent; David, a clerk at West Hampstead; and De Lambert, a banker at West Hampstead; were remanded at How Street on a charge of defrauding Elias Azancot and others of £22,000. All the accused are foreigners.

THE MARCONI COMMITTEE. London, March 13. In the House of Commons Mr Norton, in reply to a question on the subject of the Marconi Committee’s decision, said that the Post Office was prepared to grant long-distance license's to any British wireless company, on proof of their financial ability and technical competency.
THE TURAKINA. Sydney, March 12. The captain of the Turakina has cabled to the Underwriters’ Association that lie lias landed in good condition -1500 hales of wool, 1000 bales of flax, 3000 sacks of cheese, 200 casks of tallow, and 1000 cases of sundries.
