WORKS START WITH FREE LABOUR. fPer Press Ass6oiation.) Gisborne, February 4. The Sheep-farmers’ Works started this morning with sixteen butcheis, and there were nineteen when work was knocked off at Itmch time, humerous enquiries for work are being received from the country- The men employed are all new hands. The \Tokomaru works started today with a dozen on the board, and it is expected to have a full oai to-morrow.
