Thomas James Dibley, aged 18 a dealer and professional boxer,, wat found dead with his skull fractured and his brain lacerated as the result of a street squabble on January 24th James Maher, aged 19, a labourer, has been charged with the manslaughter of Dibley. It is reported that in a Hood in the Johnstone river, seventeen dead horses and two houses were seen floating down. Probably, the cane and banana crops are heavily damaged.
