The seamen claim an increased manning scale on all vessels, and transport workers to be ashore eight hours. MERCHANT SERVICE GUILD. (Received 9.45 a.m.) Sydney, February 4. The tension in maritime circles is increasing. The Merchant Service Guild has decided not to accept tin tentative agreement which the executive made with three coastal com panics. They resolved to demand r settlement of the dispute in all State; before considering a settlement in New South Wales.
