MR. BEEBY WINS BLAYNEY SEAT. Sydney, January 23. The Blayney second ballot resulted :—Beeby (Independent) 2215, M ithington (Liberal) 2098. Two small returns are still to come, but will not affect the result. Mr. Beeby’s majority was 157. NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydney, January 24. The Cabinet on Tuesday will consider the constitutional question regarding the resignation of Mr. Neilson, which is contained in a letter lying' unopened among Speaker Wilks’s correspondence. The question is whethei the contents should be ascertained. The Clerk of Parliament communicated with the Governor,,who authorised the act in the absence of the Speaker.
