The Cabinet on Tuesday will consider the constitutional question regarding the resignation of Mr. Neilson, which is contained in a letter lying' unopened among Speaker Wilks’s correspondence. The question is whethei the contents should be ascertained. The Clerk of Parliament communicated with the Governor,,who authorised the act in the absence of the Speaker.
