SYDNEY WOOL SALES. Sydney, January 23. At the wool sales prices were very firm for medium to good wool in the grease. Sconreds were in special de mand. Competition was keen, and the general prices were the highest of the season for all descriptions. Greasy brought up to 13Jd, and scoured to 23}d. WOOL SALES. (Received 10.50 a.m.) London, January 23. At the wool sales there was a strong choice for selection in New Zealand crossbreds, which the Americans as sorted fairly. All sorts were firm ai recent rates.
