The Blue Star line!- Brodland went ashore at Port Talbot. Forty-four of the crew were saved. The liner was insured for £35,000.
A LINER BREAKS IN HALF
(Received 11.35 a.m.) London, January 22.
The liner Ulstermore went aground near Liverpool on a falling tide, which caused the vessel to break in halves.
A lifeboat, amid excitement, rescued the crew and passengers.
