Mr. Pall ace, a. barrister, lias applied to a Dublin magistrate for warrants for the arrest of the Prime Minister (Mr. Asquith) and other members of tho Cabinet, in connection with the Dublin Grown jewels robbery. The Magistrate lias postponed consideration of the application. PRINCE ALBERT. Prince Albert, aboard H.M.S. Cumberland, sails on a cruise to the West Indies to-day. WOMEN AND THE ENGLISH BAR.
A meeting of tho English Bar Inner Temple overwhelmingly rejected the admission of women.
UNDERWRITERS HARD HIT
The shipping disasters of Friday involved the underwriters in a loss of half a million, in addition to a million lost during the recent gales. THE LAND QUESTION. The South Wales ‘Daily News’ states that the Land Enquiry Committee has recommended the establishment of land courts to adjust rents and renewals of leases, a legal minimum wage for agriculturists, rural housing, and the rating of site values.

T)r. Clark and Mrs. Fulham were committed for trial for the murder of Mrs. Clark. A native named Mohan, accused by Budhu of killing Mrs. Clark with a sword, has been arrested.
RUSSIAN STEAMER AFIRE
Aden, January 18
The Russian steamer Eatonia was abandoned afire. Eleven are missing, including the captain.
