ON THE BOWLING GREEN.
Five rinks from Waitara met Inglewood on the latter’s green in a friendly match on Thursday, and were beaten by four points, the scores being 123 — 119.
Two rinks from the Stratford Bowling Club leave by the mail train this evening, en route for Auckland, where the big bowling tournament commences on Monday.
