Mr Newton King’s January stock sale list appears in another column. _ Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co, hold their next Inglewood sale on Wednesday, January Bth. Entries appear in another column. The Stratford County Council publish a notice in this issue regarding dog registration. A camp hand and twelve good navvies are wanted. The owner of a roan cow, straying on the Devon hurst property, Pohokura, is wanted. Mr Newton King will hold a cattle sale at his Douglas saleyards on Monday. Entries appear alsewhere. An advertiser has four young dogs for sale. An advertiser has two to two-and-a-half acres of grass hay for sale. Mr Joseph McCluggage is offering 20,000 feet of good second-hand timber for sale. We are in receipt of a handsome wall calendar with excellent views of Stratford and the surrounding dis- ' trict, from the firm of Geo. Syme, Egmont Sash and Door Factory, for which Mr George Hunter is the local manager. Divine worship will ho conducted in the Broadway Church to-morrow morning by the Rev. A.
