The following items of local inter est appear in the Herald’s report oi the Board meeting on Tuesday : Mr F. M. The board -agreed to 1 pay the cosl of a truck of metal required ’by the Douglas Committee for use in tin school grounds, and also the cost of 50 shrubs, provided they are used as ; hedge and not purely as ornamental shrubs.
