PEDIGREE SALE.
ONE AT 200 GUINEAS
Keen interest was displayed in a sale of pedigree Jerseys at the Hawera Show yesterday, on account ot Mr. H. E. B. Watson, of Tai Tape, Canterbury. The prices were good, the average being 83.7 guineas, and the top price 200 guineas. The New Zealand Doan and Mercantile Agency Co. conducted the sale, in conjunction with Messrs. Gillies and Nalder. Details of sale were:—

Goddington Blue Bell (Goddington — Blue Bell VIII.), J. Clegg (To Roti). 50 guineas. Bilberv X. (Silver King—Bilbery V.), O’Donnell’s Estate (Inaha), 20J guineas. Victoria VI (K.C.B.—Victoria V.), Frank Morey (Manaia), 120 guineas. Meadow Brook Victoria IV. (Knight, Commander—Victoria V.), E. Griffiths (New Plymouth), 61 cm inr as. Sunflower XIII. (Silver King—Sunflower IX.), Fred Hosting (Opunake), 51 guineas. New. Year’s Gift (Goddington—Sunflower IX.), 1). E. Scott (Normanby) 30 guineas. Sweet Briar VIII. (Silver King— Sweet Briar IV.), Chailes Barleyman (Kaupokonui), 80 guineas. Twylish Maid of All Work (Brighton Twylish—Queen of Flowers), Norman Wren (Tokaora). Two Shorthorn hulls, on account of Mr. G. A. Turner (Eltham), were passed in.
