Second Edition DISASTER FOLLOWS BIG FIRE,
a ENGINEER AND 'FIREMEN KILLED. (Received .3, 10.40 a.m.) New York, September 2. A disastrous fire wiped out the business districts of Butte, A special train summoned from Anaconda was derailed while rushing to assistance, and the engineer and Jiroman were killed, and the tftin wrecked. Some burned buildings collapsed burying the chief of the Fire Brigade, who, when rescued, was paralysed, and afterwards succumbed. Other firemen were seriously injured. Extensive damage was done before the fire was conquered.
