SUGGESTION OF PURCHASE BY A SYNDICATE. A LONDON RUMOUR. (Received 3, 8.5 a.m.) London, April 2. The “Shipping Gazette’’, mentions a rumour that a syndicate interested in the Australian and New Zealand trade is negotiating for the purchase of the Union S.S. Co.’s business.
