To-morrow Mr. Newton King’s usual weekly Haymarket and Mart sales takes place. Mr. T. Lamason sells poultry, vegetables, fruit, and furniture at his rooms to-morrow.
It is not Mr. Lowers’ custom to commence a sale so early in the season, but on account of being overstocked by £2OOO lie lias decided to quit the goods by having a great bargain sale, starting Saturday March. 30, not only offering £2OOO worth, but all the general stock as well. x On Wednesday, April 3rd, Messrs. Young, Hobbs-and Co. hold a sheep and cattle sale at Strathmore.
On Tuesday, April 2nd, Mr. Newton King sells 600 head of mixed cat 7 tic at the Stratford yards. The secretary of the Stratford Hospital Board invites tenders for twelve months’ supplies of groceries, bread, meat, milk, and undertaking. Some special bargain lines to be obtained at'Horbcrt’s are published elsewhere.
