Mrs Reeves, in a letter to tho “Times,” combats Lady Glasgow’s statements published in the “Times” that women’s suffrage in New Zealand in many ways was harmful, and had not helped to solve social and other questions. The franchise in Britain would be infinitely more disastrous than in New Zealand. Tho majority in Britain, like New Zealand, did not want the vote.
