Tho above teams met at New Plymouth on Monday and Tuesday. In their first innings South Taranaki made 181 (Dunlop 87, Walker 40, Pratt 21), and in their second they made 21 (Dunlop 14) for the loss of seven wickets. In their first innings North Taranaki Gnado 383 (GwilJim 141, Matthews 73, Perham 58, Weston 40, Bain 39). The match was not finished.
