ARXST-PEARCE ARTIOm-S. THE CHAAIPTOX FAILS TO TURN UP. Sydney. May 31. The signing of Ihe Arnst-Pearce articles failed to eventuate. At a meeting of their supporters Arnst was absent. Floyd, on his behalf, stated that the champion had boon suddenly indisposed. He feared there was a return of ins recent trouble. It was deoiled to postpone the signing. A rust might be able to sign within a- week, if everything turned out all right. Pearce was greatly disappointed.
