PRESENTATION TO SOLDIER-
The boxing gymnasium at Tuatapere was filled when residents met to honour Private D. Glendenning. In the unavoidable absence of the chairman, Mr H. McDonald, the presentation was made by Mr A. P. McDonald. Mr McFadgen spoke on behalf of the citizens and of the religious bodies.' Visiting soldiers were given cigarettes.
