Fair to Cloudy (Special) WELLINGTON, October 25. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate and variable winds. Weather fair to cloudy. Temperatures cool. Heavy rain fell during the week-end in Invercargill, accompanied by a bitterly cold easterly wind. The weather at 1 o’clock this morning was mild, calm and partly overcast. The barometer reading was 29.93 in. (rising). The Tides.—High water, Invercargill, 3.56 a.m.; 4.16 p.m. Bluff, 3.15 a.m.; 3.35 p.m. Riverton, 2.15 a.m.; 2.35 p.m. Oreti Beach, 2.29 a.m.; 2.44 p.m. The Sun.—Rises 5.33 a.m.; sets 7.30 p.m.
