SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED
COLLINGWOOD— Driver H. F. Raymond was recently honoured at a social at the residence of his parents, Collingwood. The guest was presented with a leather writing case by Mr C. Wilson on behalf of the Waikiwi, a parcel from the W.D.F.U. by the president, Mrs A. Waters, and also with a gold signet ring from his parents. RIVERTON.— There was a large attendance at a social in honour of Driver H. Eade held in Fleck's Hall, Riverton. The Mayor, Dr N. G. Trotter, made the presentation on behalf of those present and good wishes were expressed by Mr G. Cloughley and Captain H. Raethel, of the Salvation Army.
