SUBSIDY ON RABBIT SKINS
As anxiety was being felt by Southland rabbit boards about the final date up to which the subsidy would be paid on the skins of milky does, the Southland Rabbit Boards’ Council some days ago took the matter up with the Rabbit Skins’ Committee at Dunedin. Advice has now been received by the chairman of the council that the subsidy will apply to skins received in the stores in time to be offered at the skin sales in Dunedin on November 18 next.
