SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED

BROWNS,—On Friday evening a large crowd assembled in the Browns Hall to honour Driver Alex Buchanan. Mr T. Butcher wished him the best of luck and asked Mr T. Mcßae to make a presentation on behalf of his friends in Browns. Other speakers were Mr Ashley and Mr Gray. Mrs Henderson, on behalf of the W.D.F.U., made Driver Buchanan a small presentation and wished him the best of luck. Miss Doris Brown, on behalf of the Browns school children also jnade a presentation.
