BOY BREAKS LEG

Allan Haugh, aged nine, a son of Mr and Mrs L. J. R. Haugh, Broughton street, Gore, was admitted to the Gore Public Hospital suffering from a broken leg. His condition last night was satisfactory. MOTORIST DIES OF INJURIES (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 31. Major David Clive Crozier, aged 39, died today after a car crash on Saturday. Major Crozier was driving alone in Hagley Avenue when his car struck a telegraph pole. He was district mechanical and technical transport officer.
