Fair To Cloudy (Special) Wellington, August 26. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to fresh north-easterly winds. The weather fair to cloudy; temperatures cold. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was cold and overcast with an easterly wind throughout the day. At 1 o'clock this morning the weather was clear and frosty with a light easterly breeze. The barometer reading was 30.01 in. (falling).
