BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR IN CHRISTCHURCH

(Special) CHRISTCHURCH, August 19. the Southland Boys’ High School choir took part in the Christchurch Harmonic Society’s concert this evening and met with a good reception from a large audience. The choir was welcomed to Christchurch by the Mayor, Mr E. H. Andrews. In the afternoon it gave a recital for pupils of secondary schools and tomorrow afternoon the audience will comprise primary school pupils. The choir will again appear at the Harmonic Society’s concert tomorrow evening. j
