SECRET SESSION ENDS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 19. The House of Representatives continued in secret session throughout this afternoon and evening, and when it concluded at 11.30 p.m. the following official report was issued with the authority of the Speaker, the Hon. W. E. Barnard: “The Prime Minister reviewed the situation in the several theatres of war and discussed the question of the best utilization of man-power in the Dominion. Twenty-nine other speakers took part in the discussion.” The House adjourned until 2.30 p.m. today, when it is expected that the session will conclude.
