(Special) WET.LTNGTON, August 12. Following is the 1 special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the. Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate, variable winds. The weather cloudy with occasional rain; temperatures moderate. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was mild and calm but overcast during the greater part of the day. At I o’clock this morning the weather was calm with light rain falling. The barometer reading was 29.80 in. (falling). The Tides.—High water, Invercargill, 3.28 a.m.; 3.49 p.m. Bluff, 2.47 a.m.; 3.08 p.m. Riverton, 1.47 a.m.; 2.08 p.m. Oretl Beach, 1.56 a.m.; 2.17 p.m.
