OBITUARY
CONSTABLE A. KING OF TIMARU TIMARU, September 27. The death occurred suddenly today of Constable A. King, who has been stationed at Timaru for ten years. At one time he was a footman in the service of King George V. He served in the Great War and was a member of the Metropolitan Police Force of London for seven years. He leaves a widow and nine children. One son is in the Army, one in the Navy and one in the Air Force.
