TERRITORIALS FOR CAMP
SOUTHLAND DRAFT LEAVES ON MONDAY About 450 men of the territorial unit of the Ist Southland Regiment will go into camp at Forbury Park, Dunedin, on Monday. Two trains will transport the men to Dunedin, and one, a special train, will leave Invercargill at 7 o’clock on Monday morning. Most of the territorials will go by the morning train; the remainder will travel to Dunedin by the afternoon express. The men will be engaged in elementary training for a period of abqut three months. It is expected that they will complete their training before Christmas. The advance contingent from the Southland unit went to Dunedin this week to carry out mobilization preparations. Lieutenant S. B. Taylor, attached to the Invercargill Army Office, will go to Dunedin by the express this morning to superintend the completion of arrangements and the orderly room staff will travel to Dunedin by the express this afternoon. Major C. E. Lees is the officer commanding the regiment; Captain A. C. Smart will travel with th< Monday morning special train as conducting officer and Captain T. H.
