WOMEN’S DIVISION DANCE

FUNCTION AT RIVERTON The Empire Theatre, Riverton, was decorated with red, white and blue drapings and flags last Tuesday for the dance organized by.the Womens Division of the Farmers’ Union. Occupying a prominent position was the aeroplane recently constructed by Mr L. Cloughley to help with the local collection of the Fighter Plane Fund. The masters of ceremonies for the evening were Messrs L. Cloughley and I Taylor. Mr F. Davis played extras. A lucky spot waltz during the evening was won by Miss Kathleen Hayes and her partner, Mr J. Playfair.
