• PIRATES CLUB’S RECORD WINNER OF AGGREGATE CUP “The Pirates Club has put up a very fine performance this year and it is deserving of the union’s special thanks .for the way it has fulfilled its obligations,” said Mr H. J. Brown, chairman of the competitions committee, when announcing the results of the various grade competitions at the meeting of the Southland Rugby Union last night. Mr Brown said that the Pirates Club had not only won the championships in three grades; it had also won the R. M. Isaacs Aggregate Cup and thus completed an excellent record. It was decided to compliment the club on its performance. Mr L. R.
