RIFLE SHOOTING
INVERCARGILL MINIATURE CLUB. Last evening there was another large attendance of members, including several new members, of the Invercargill Miniature Rifle Club at the Drill Hall when the first round of a two-round shoot for a trophy for Wednesdays only was fired. The new members showed good progress under the able supervision of the club’s coaches and some good scores were registered. A shoot off for the Cock o’ the Walk Shield between A. R. Wills, M. Sheehan and G. Smith, who all registered 78 off the rifle, will be held on Monday night. The following are some of the best scores in th’e first round for the trophy:—
