WESTERN AUSTRALIANS

SOCIAL FUNCTION IN LONDON.

(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright)

(Rec. 8.5 p.m.) London, June 2. Owing to the absence of Mr A. V. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, through House of Commons business, Sir Hugo Hirst was the principal guest at the Western Australian dinner at the Trocadero. Wittenoom, responding, said he hoped migration would shortly be resumed under conditions satisfactory to Western Australia and Britain.
