MOTOR INDUSTRY
BRITISH MANUFACTURERS’ PLANS.
(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) Vancouver, May 29.
Advice from Detroit states that an announcement was made in London that British automobile manufacturers are planning to invade the Canadian market. It is indicated in automobile circles in Detroit that they are aiming not only at the Canadian market, but possibly at the Australian market. British plants which will be established in Canada will be granted preferential rates, and the Australian market will be taken from the United States.
